caitlin was our last senior session for last week…and you know what…she was the perfect way to end the week!  so much fun, a natural beauty–

again, we had a blast traveling to some great locations and shooting at the studio…i love her images!

last week was so much fun–i truly am happiest when i am photographing and exploring with clients.  thanks to all my sessions last week–you all had great energy and spirit!

just a reminder…this entire week i will be closed to attend a phenominal workshop by the painter robert burridge.  it is being held at the LATI, so i will be in town, but will NOT be at the studio.  i will be checking email and returning calls each evening.

i’m really looking forward to advancing my creativity through a different medium!

sneak peek of baby b

i tell you, there is just something about those big eyes, soft skin, and baby smell that does make you think…hmmm, maybe ONE more baby…lol!

baby b certainly did that for me–what a good baby, he truly was a joy to photograph.

let’s see if the images make YOU want to have more kids!

krista’s sneak peek!

last week was so much fun–i love getting back into shooting seniors every day!

krista came with her mom and sisters, and it made the session so relaxing and awesome.  we found some fun locations to shoot in, as well as utilizing the anti-atrium sets.

thanks again for choosing kallhoff portrait–you were incredible to work with!

for those on the fence…we do have some sessions left in july and august and september is now starting to book.  don’t wait too long, once we reach our 100 senior limit, we are done!

i love photographing this little peanut…he makes me laugh!

like any farmboy, he loves his tractors–WHOOWHOO!!

thanks for bringing him up to play, enjoy the many expressions of this lively boy.

also, the studio will be closed ALL NEXT WEEK while i attend a painting workshop in watertown.  i will return calls and reply to emails in the evenings.

caitlin 2010 senior

we had a blast!  caitlin brought  samantha with her- lots of laughs, great images, and hair and reflector help provided by samantha helped to insure an awesome session.  weather provided some scary moments at the end of the session for their travel home, but the session was safe!

first 2010 senior of the year!

was last friday, and michael was a blast!  it was a great overcast bright day, and minimal wind…it was so much fun to get back into shooting after a few weeks of moving and illness!

here is a sneak peak of michael:

this week is booked solid with seniors…and the calendar is closing up quickly.  i only photograph 100 seniors a year, and i like it that way.  i know that there are tons of photographers that book gazillions of seniors, but being the only one in my studio, i want to ENJOY my seniors, not look at them as one of a gazillion…lol.  anyway, we are closing in on that number pretty dang fast!

busy busy time at the studio–LOVE this time of year!  ideas for upcoming specials, working on the designing of sets for families for fall, and some plans for that cool firetruck we now have…look for that in a few weeks…

2009 watertown grads:  starting tomorrow, you can pick up your graduation photos from commencement–all that have been ordered have arrived.  some stragglers have placed orders, those we will call on an individual basis as they arrive…but otherwise, all others are in and ready to start the pickup process.

a TOUGH week…

i had an abscessed tooth and emergency root canal on monday that has had complications that left me with ANOTHER visit to the dentist yesterday!  ugh.

thank you to  my understanding clients when i begged to switch their appointment times to later this week and into next.  i appreciate your ability to be flexible, and in turn,

guaranteeing that you will have a session where i am COHERENT and creative!!  lol.

we are booking like crazy for senior portraits–so, if you are on the fence, JULY has a few more available dates, august even fewer dates still available.  the new sets are coming along wonderfully (even with the delays that the dental emergency caused.)  i am so excited for our first senior season in the new studio…it will be awesome and exciting!
