this morning i received word that Ralph Richter passed away.
an icon of our industry has been lost.
Ralph’s accomplishments are far too many to list, but suffice it to say, he was an inspiration to many.
He was a national judge, a mentor, a multiple award winner, the National Award winner, and my friend.
I will miss him greatly.
Thank you Ralph for your help, your words of wisdom, and for the adventure of photographing Pasque flowers…I will miss you greatly…

our 8 hour senior sale for class of 2009

is going to be on APRIL 18 from 10am-6pm. this is the time to save some money on 2009 senior session fees…
so, call the studio: 605-886-8858 and tell us you want to ‘define yourself’ and we will get you scheduled for your senior portraits with a great cost savings! (call to find out what it is…)
when you call, be sure to give us your preferred date and time (sessions are at 10am and 1pm), what session you want to do…and have your cc ready to hold your spot. we will send you a confirmation email with your date and time, as well as other great tips on having a great session.
we are in the height of creating our new sets and such…SO MANY cool areas to shoot in that NO ONE else in the country has…be sure to get on our books before we have no more appointments available! we always limit the number of seniors we take, and this year we are actually cutting that number lower…
so, once we hit the magic number of 80 seniors…we are DONE! will you be one of the 80 to get on our books??!!
again…take advantage of this ONE DAY opportunity to save some hard earned money and still get rockin senior portrait…

wow…the studio is BURIED in bags of announcements that people are scheduled to pick up…it’s kind of insane! we are literally living in a sea of gold bags…LOL…
if you are one of the few to not have ordered announcements yet, you are running out of time. our
DEADLINE FOR ORDERING ANNOUNCEMENTS IS APRIL 1!
it’s been a blast being creative with design, so, if you are unsure of what you want to do for an announcement, kelli or i would love to give you some suggestions or ideas. please please please don’t wait until the last moment on these!

to get on the books to get your grad announcements ordered! we are busy as can be designing custom announcements with our 2008 graduates…
just call the studio at 605.886.8858 to get on our books OR go to the website: www.kallhoffportrait.com, then the Reservations tab, and that will take you to our online schedule book. Simply choose order appointment and the date/time that works best for you!
things that expedite your appointment: knowing how many total announcements you would like to order, and the dates/times of the graduation ceremony and your party. everything else kelli and i are able to walk you through!
remember, the deadline for ordering graduation announcements is APRIL 1…

it’s that busy design time at the studio! we have been working hard getting our 2008 seniors on the books for custom designing of their graduation announcements. i love this time! it’s great to catch up with the seniors and find out where they are headed to for college, as well as the opportunity to be creative with the layout and their images.
kelli is taking a little sabbatical, so, i realize that getting on our books is a bit more difficult. remember that you can ALWAYS schedule your appointments online! go to our website, http://www.kallhoffportrait.com, and then go to the reservations tab. that will take you to our online books, and from there you can schedule your appointment.
a date you should keep in mind is…our deadline for ORDERING ANNOUNCEMENTS is APRIL 1.
please don’t let this date slip by!
we have a wide variety of announcement styles, from the ever popular press printed with specialty papers, to the ‘original’ photographic 5×8 card.
the ordering process is smoother if you come with the following information:
* the total number you need to order
* the graduation date and time
* the party information, date, place, and time
so, as soon as you have all your information organized, give us a call, 605-886-8858, or go through the website and we look forward to working with you on your card!
